Role Responsibilities:
Therapy. You will build a caseload through connections made via intake interviews for our psychological assessment clients and will provide therapy services to clients that you feel are a good fit for the style of therapy services you provide. Compensation per encounter could increase for a provider that brings a partial or full caseload with them.
Intake Interviews for Testing. For a provider that doesn’t already have a caseload established prior to coming on staff with Insight, conducting intake interviews is a great way to connect with clients and build a caseload. These interviews are conducted virtually and act as a triage type appointment for testing. You will utilize a template to collect data to determine whether a client is a good candidate for testing.
Optional Treatment Planning Sessions. Another valuable option for building a caseload is by providing treatment planning sessions for clients after completing psychological testing with Insight Carolinas. Now that they have received a diagnosis, you are able to provide them with possible next steps, so they are better able to navigate everyday life. One of those next steps could involve starting therapy with you.
Documentation. Our therapists are required to complete documentation for all clinical encounters via TherapyNotes by the following business day. You will be trained on this.
Collaboration. Whether your licensure requires supervision or not, you will take part in our weekly therapy group consultation session where you will meet with the Therapy Supervisor and other Therapists on staff to discuss cases and any challenges you may encounter in your sessions.
Ideal Candidate:
Licensure: LP, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LPA, LCSW, LCAS licensure in NC. If interested in assisting in our expansion to the Rock Hill area, licensure in SC would be required as well.
Experience: We are open to associate level licensures provided that we have a clinician on staff that is permitted to provide supervision or if a candidate already has outside supervision.
We are open to various therapeutic orientations and our providers can see children, teens and/or adults as they prefer.
You can provide individual, family, couples, or group therapy as desired.
Skills: Attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines, and work both collaboratively and independently.
Language Skills: Strong professional communication and writing
*Bonus available for bilingual Spanish-English candidates.
